  • The Henderstead is a veteran-owned/operated multi-species livestock producer in Union Mills, NC raising grass-finished lamb and pastured pork in intensive rotational grazing operations. Owners, Josh and Lauren Henderson, focus on producing high-quality meat products through the use of regenerative practices to promote overall environmental and animal health. Josh and Lauren believe in building a better food system by feeding the world one neighbor at a time.

  • We are a small, multi species farm that has produced high quality, pasture-based meats for over two decades. We use regenerative agriculture as a means to steward our land and strengthen our ecosystem. We offer grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork, as well as fresh whole milk.

  • Wild East Farm is a diverse, mixed farm currently raising pastured chickens, turkey and pork and growing no-till vegetables. The farm uses all organic methods and is solar-powered. Founded by Lyric and Noah in 2022, the farm has grown to support 5 full time farmers and is grounded in community, creativity and a deep relationship with the land.
